Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba today, September 23, holds a joint visit with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyyarto to the Transcarpathian region, the news agency reports. Kuleba noted in his comment that the ministers together visit the famous Ukrainian Transcarpathia. Every minute of time invested in dialogue, communication and treatment of the wounds of Ukrainian-Hungarian relations is worth hours of misunderstandings and disputes that arise when there is no such communication, the Ukrainian minister emphasized. According to the agenda announced by the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the foreign ministers will take part in the ceremony of transferring Hungarian humanitarian assistance to the Transcarpathian region, discuss the implementation of agreements on a wide range of Ukrainian-Hungarian relations, in particular, deepening economic cooperation, developing border infrastructure and ensuring the rights of national minorities. the news agency recalls that this summer a large truce was to take place between Ukraine and Hungary, relations between the countries sharply deteriorated under the presidency of Petro Poroshenko due to his language and educational initiatives. However, in the second half of the summer, without a public explanation, the reconciliation process was suspended and the parties returned harsh rhetoric against each other.
