Compiled a rating of the best-selling crossovers and SUVs in Russia

The rating of the best-selling cars of the SUV segment (crossovers and SUVs) in the first seven months of 2020 was headed by the Hyundai Creta crossover. This was reported on August 17 by Avtostat. During the reporting period, Russian buyers purchased 39 thousand copies of Hyundai Creta. The second place among the popular cars of the SUV segment was taken by the Japanese model Toyota RAV4. During the period from January to July 2020, 19 thousand crossovers of the Japanese brand were sold in Russia. Volkswagen Tiguan closes the top three leaders in the model rating with 17.4 thousand units of cars sold. In the fourth and fifth places of the list were placed respectively Renault Duster (15.4 thousand units) and KIA Sportage (15 thousand units). Also included in this rating: Nissan Qashqai (12.8 thousand units), Mazda CX-5 (11.4 thousand units), Lada 4 4 (11.4 thousand units), Nissan X-Trail (10.9 thousand units) and Renault Kaptur (10.6 thousand units).
