Albanian opposition leader calls on Kosovars to support the country's tourism

Kosovo Prime Minister Avdulla Hoti paid a visit to Albania on Friday July 3, where he met with Albanian opposition leader Lulzim Basha. On his Facebook page, Basha announced that during the meeting he turned to a Kosovo politician with a request to support Albanian tourism. Recall that the incomes of almost a third of the Albanian population are somehow associated with the influx of tourists into the country, however, due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation, Albania was included in the red lists of tourist countries in many European states, which forced Albania to try hard to compensate for this loss at the expense of the neighboring Albanian state. Also during the meeting, the Albanian politician promised to immediately cancel the toll on the Morina-Durres highway (the so-called road of the nation) connecting Albania and Kosovo. Basha welcomed Hoti's decision to establish the Council of Experts on Dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo. In response, the Prime Minister of Kosovo invited the Albanian opposition to visit the region in the near future.
