A social activist in Georgia was outraged that he was praised by the KGB of South Ossetia
The head of the Georgian public organization Sila in Unity, David Katsarava, was indignant that the activities of his movement were positively commented on in the State Security Committee of South Ossetia. He told reporters about this, July 9 reports Georgian Public Television. In this statement, they seem to praise us, all this is done purposefully to discredit me and my team, Katsarava said. Based on such a reaction, the KGB concluded that his movement is effective and the leadership of South Ossetia allegedly does not like it. In addition, Katsarava criticized the current leadership of Georgia. In his opinion, Tbilisi is inactive and does not oppose Moscow. It is worth noting that earlier the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia published an appeal in which there was a positive review about the work of the Force in Unity movement. It was said that through such patriots, the department receives information about the situation on the Georgian-South Ossetian border, but now the Georgian authorities prevent social activists from objectively covering events in the region.
