The American startup Space Perspective announced the organization of tourist flights in a balloon in a sealed capsule to a height of 30 kilometers, from where participants in the flight will be able to see space. It is reported by New Atlas. It is noted that Space Perspective plans to organize tourist flights in an eight-seater sealed comfortable Neptune capsule with a bathroom and a bar with snacks. The capsule will rise to a height of 30 kilometers using a balloon, it is at this height that tourists will be able to clearly see the curvature of the planet and the blackness of space. According to journalists of the publication, the trip will take six hours, and the landing will be made in the ocean. The first experimental flight will take place in early 2021 from Cape Canaveral. It is assumed that the cost of a tourist flight to the stratosphere is planned in the amount of half of the cost of existing suborbital flights (about $125 thousand per passenger). Earlier, the news agency reported that the suborbital tourist cosmoplane VSS Unity took off for the second time during tests in New Mexico.
