Taiwan and China could enter Australian travel bubble
Authorities in Australia could include China in a travel zone considered safe under the new type of coronavirus spread. This is reported on May 7 Daily Mail. The head of the Australian Commission Against the Spread of Coronavirus Neville Power has proposed to resume travel between Australia and China. Power believes that Japan, the Republic of Korea, and possibly Indonesia should also be included in the so-called travel bubble. Hong Kong and Taiwan are also seen as candidates for bubble inclusion in New Zealand. This was stated, in particular, by Chris Roberts, Executive Director of the New Zealand Tourism Industry Aotearoa Tourism Council, according to Taiwan News. He noted that New Zealand had tight trade links in the Asia-Pacific region, many of which had managed to contain the outbreak of coronavirus infection.
