Turkmenistan is ready to teach the UN to restore the world economy

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan discussed by telephone with the Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres the pandemic of coronavirus infection and measures to combat the disease. This was reported by the press service of the Head of State. The Turkmen leader noted that mankind faced an extremely serious challenge changing the usual life of many states and peoples, and therefore, more than ever before, the role of the United Nations as the only universal international structure capable of consolidating the efforts of the entire world community in combating the threat. Turkmenistan is ready to provide its experience and opportunities to solve the problems of restoring the world economy under the auspices of the United Nations, Berdimuhamedov said. In turn, António Guterres noted that the UN leadership highly appreciates the contribution of Turkmenistan to the development of international cooperation, as well as fully supports the initiatives put forward by President Berdimuhamedov.
