Number of deaths from COVID-19 in Wuhan almost doubled after clarification

In the capital of Hubei province, Wuhan, central China, updated data on confirmed deaths from a new coronavirus infection were announced, according to Xinhua news agency on April 17. A total of 50,333 cases, plus 325 cases, have been confirmed COVID-19 Wuhan as of 16 April. The number of deaths has been adjusted from 1,290 to 3,869. As noted in the Hubei Health Commission, adjustments have been made in accordance with laws, norms, as well as the principle of responsibility to the deceased. It should be noted that earlier in China reported only 3,342 deaths and 82,367 infected with a new coronavirus infection throughout the country in the history of the epidemic.
