Nine new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia in the last 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, 9 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia, 8 of which the source of infection is known, and they belong to previously identified clusters. This was reported to journalists on April 23 in the morning by the medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Hospital Marina Ezugbaya. She explained that none of the newly identified patients in this clinic lie, they are distributed to other medical institutions that treat coronavirus patients. Epidemiologists are currently conducting studies to determine the source of infection of a patient who does not belong to any known cluster of coronavirus-infected individuals. The total number of people infected at 11:00 a.m. on 23 April reached 420, of whom 107 recovered and 5 died. In the quarantine zones there are 5,223 people, in hospitals 584.
