Coronavirus infection confirmed in Sao Tome and Principe residents
The first confirmed cases of infection with SARS- CoV -2 virus in Sao Tome and Principe were reported by Prime Minister George Bom Jesus, according to Xinhua on April 6. Jesus said that in Sao Tome and Principe testing confirmed the presence of coronavirus in four people. The tests were done in Gabon. As previously reported by the news agency, Sao Tome and Principe remained one of three African countries where no cases of COVID-19 infection were detected. Now, according to official information, only the Comoros and Lesotho are not affected in Africa.
