Turkey's military neutralized five PKK members
Turkey's law enforcement agencies neutralized five high-ranking members of the Kurdistan Workers 'Party (PKK) during a special operation in Iraq, Anadolu Ajansi reported on March 10. According to journalists, the special operation took place in the north of the country, in the area of Kandil. The names and positions of the killed rebels are not named. The term neutralized is often used by the Turkish military as a euphemism behind which the killing of an enemy is concealed. Recall, the Kurdistan Workers 'Party is considered a terrorist organization in Turkey and its activities in the country are prohibited. For more than 30 years, Kurds have fought for the right to have their own autonomy within the state. More than 40,000 people were killed during the bloody clashes.
