In Kyrgyzstan began agitation in connection with elections to city keneshes

The beginning of agitation in connection with elections to city keneshes (local self-government bodies) in Kyrgyzstan was reported on March 13 in the press service of the central election commission of the republic. Campaigning began on March 13, 2020 and will last until April 10, 2020 inclusive. On April 11, as explained in the CEC press service, there will be a day of silence, and elections of deputies to the city keneshes will be held on April 12 this year. The agitation will take place in Osh, Mayluu-Suu, Karakol, Balykchi and Tokmok, the CEC reported. It should be noted that the law on elections in Kyrgyzstan begins campaigning for candidates taking part in the election campaign from the day on which the deadline for registration of candidates for elections ends.
