Kyrgyzstan wants to increase payments in honor of Victory Day
The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan proposes to increase by 5 thousand soms (4.5 thousand rubles) the amount of cash allowance paid annually on Victory Day to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, widows of dead warriors, workers of the rear and labor workers. This is reported by the press service of the government. The draft of the relevant government decree was submitted for public discussion by the Ministry. Officials of the Ministry note that if these changes are approved, disabled people and participants of the Great Patriotic War, and blockades of Leningrad and minors to prisoners of concentration camps will receive in honor of the holiday on May 9 20 thousand soms (18 thousand rubles), and workarmeyans, workers of the rear and widows of dead warriors 15 thousand soms (13.5 thousand rubles). We remind that according to official data, as of the beginning of 2020 in Kyrgyzstan the number of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, workers of the rear, workers and widows of dead soldiers amounted to 2,076 people.
